If you are seeing dark squares around the prints after printing to a card, this can be caused by a driver issue. Follow the steps below to check and update the current driver in-use for your printer.
- Ensure the printer is on and plugged into your computer. In the search bar at the lower left of your screen, type in printers and then click on Printers & Scanners from the list.
- Select the Lexmark printer that you are using to print cards.
- Click Printer properties.
- Click Change Properties in the lower left corner. If this is not present, can click Advanced from the tabs in the top.
- Click on the dropdown by Driver if it says Microsoft IPP Class Driver and select the appropriate driver for your device.
- Click Apply, click OK.
