FFL Express Installation

Thank you for your purchase of the Fulcrum Biometrics FFL Express system.  Please follow the below instructions on installing the package onto your system.

1. Please use the link below to download your installation package to an external drive

2.  Run the package fapi-ffl-express-self-extract.exe that you downloaded
   1. This will begin the opening steps of your installation.
   2. You might get this popup
      
   3. Please click on More info then on Run Anyway
      
   4. You may need someone with Windows Administration rights to perform this installation.

1. First click on Check for Activation Wizard and LiveScanx64
   
   
2. Once you see the update button, click on Update Now
   

1. Click on Install to run the VC++ and Thales Drivers
   
   
   
   
   
2. Next step is to Activate your LiveScan License
   1. 
   2. You will have been sent a file called Activation Keys.txt
      
      
   3. In that file you find numbers similar to this
      
   4. Highlight and Copy the numbers under the LiveScan License
      
      
   5. Copy it and paste it here and click activate
      
3. Please close the Fulcrum Application Package Installer.
   
   
   

Part II – Configuration

1. Open the Activation Wizard  12 Icon on your desktop
   
2. Click on Configure
   
3. Select Single PC with Licensing Service and then click Finish
   
4. For the next part you will need Activation Keys.txt file again with Licenses in it
   
   
   
5. Click on Add Licenses
   
   
   
6. Once this Window pops up, paste the first license under the NT Licenses in the area where it says Enter Serial Numbers
   
   
   
7. Once you paste it, click the area below it to make the numbers turn green
   
   
   
   
8. Now repeat the process with the 2^nd number
   
9. Now click on Next
   
   
   
10. Click on Activate
    
    
    
11. Click on Finish and then close the program
    

Hardware Setup:

1. Please plugin the following hardware
   1. Thales Fingerprint Scanner
   2. Logitech c920 Camera
   3. Driver’s License Barcode Scanner
      1. Please plugin the wireless dongle
      2. User the USB cord for charging only
         
         
2. You can now open the LiveScan Application from the shortcut on the Desktop and begin using your system.
   

1. Login to the Software
   1. Username:        LiveScan
   2. Password:          Biometrics!1
